Installation typically takes under 15 minutes and requires zero technical expertise or IT assistance. Your kit arrives pre-paired to your account right out of the box. Simply plug the central Gateway into power, place your probes into your piles and watch live data stream to your phone or desktop immediately.

The Upload Gateway comes with either a built-in cellular 4G SIM card (no extra SIM fees), so you don't even need site Wi-Fi, or an Ethernet if preferred. For power, the Gateway can plug into standard AC outlets or run on our off-grid 100% solar panel kit.

Our probes transmit data wirelessly up to 1.5 km (1 mile) line-of-sight directly to the Gateway, easily penetrating dense windrows, steam and heavy organic material.

Probe stems are constructed from 316 marine-grade stainless steel with fully sealed IP68 waterproof enclosures built to handle extreme heat and corrosive compost environments. The internal rechargeable battery lasts 6-9 months per charge and charges via our supplied chargers.

No. Monty Pro is a high-speed web application with zero software downloads or app store installs. Simply open your web browser on any device (iPhone, Android, tablet, or desktop PC) and log in.

Probes take temperature readings continuously on an hourly basis. Data is uploaded to your cloud dashboard 2 to 3 times daily by default and upload schedules can be customized to your site's specific reporting needs.

You can export official, audit-ready Process to Further Reduce Pathogens (PFRP) and Vector Attraction Reduction (VAR) compliance reports in PDF or Excel with a single click. Reports can be customized to meet local, state and national environmental authority standards.

Unlike legacy hardware vendors whose software hasn't changed in years, we operate on a 30-day update cycle. We ship fresh software features, UI improvements and custom report formats every single month based directly on requests from our site operators at no extra charge.

Pricing is less than $1.00 per probe per day ($360/probe/year) with zero upfront CapEx or hidden software fees. Orders under 10 probes carry a small $100/unit onboarding surcharge.

If a competitor gives you a lower written quote or price-match offer for automated monitoring, send us their proposal and we'll match their per-probe price.

None. Cellular 4G data transmission, SIM card management, server hosting and software upgrades are 100% included in your simple daily rate.

Our minimum subscription length is 3 months. Any subscription term under 12 months includes a recovery fee of $100.00 per probe payable at the start of the term. If you renew to a year, we credit this fee in full to your subscription.

Things change, we get it and we want to make it easy for you. If you cancel your subscription, we recover the hardware at no extra cost and send you a copy of all your probe and batch data collected during your subscription, which we then delete from our servers.

Compost pads are tough. If a probe breaks, contact our support team immediately. We dispatch a replacement unit within 10 business days. If a unit suffers a manufacturing defect, it is replaced for free under your active subscription. If it accidentally gets run through a grinder or loader, replacement units are provided at a flat rate of $150.00.
